Am 18.11.2013 eröffnet 50 m vom Stellplatz entfernt eine Gaststätte: "Zum Mühlenblick" mit gutbürgerlicher, erschwinglicher Küche.
Ab 2014 werden Tagesreisen in die nähere Umgebung und nach Dänemark oder Schweden mit dem Reisebüro "Kofahl-Reisen" ab 25 Personen angeboten.
