Der Platz liegt an der Schlei, nahe "Schleimünde", wo die Schlei in die Ostsee mündet. Von Kappeln aus die Landstraße 199 in Richtung Gelting fahren; dann Beschilderung nach Maasholm folgen. In Maasholm ist der WOMO-Stellplatz beschildert - er liegt direkt am Hafen.

Platz nach einem Jahr Abstinenz am 24.07.2014 wieder einmal angefahren auf der Suche nach einer spontanen Übernachtungs-Möglichkeit. Brechend voll gestellt , Sicherheitsabstände von 3Meter zum Teil unterschritten. Total staubig , die "Platzhirsche" fühlen sich arg gestört wenn man auf den SP fährt. Wer hierhin möchte , sollte dieses Unterfangen ausserhalb der Hauptsaison in Angriff nehmen. Im Sommer absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Die sanitären Einrichtungen der Marina sind sauber und ansprechend.

Platz ist i.O.,wenn mann keinen Luxus möchte. Ideal zum Fahrrad fahren und spazieren gehen. Sanitäreinrichtung ist i.O. Kann man jederzeit anfahren, wenn mann nicht seinen kompletten Urlaub dort verbringen möchte.
