Der Platz liegt unmittelbar am Ortsrand direkt an der Mosel, allerdings auch neben einem Schifffahrtsunternehmen (Anlegestelle, Arbeitsbereich). Der Untergrund ist zum Teil Rasen und zum Teil Schotter. In unmittelbarer Nähe ist ein Cafe, im Ort befinden sich zwei Restaurant.
